Yea, lately everyone is getting really aggressive and offencive about nothing. And as for the shells, like one set would increase accuracy, the other increase damage, and the last would increase hit rate, and they would all be equil like the vests. Its just an idea that popped into my head as a cool way of customizing your guns even farther.
What people don't realize is that a lot of people who play CA aren't hardcore gamers. Most of them are casual players who enjoy a good headshot once in a while between socializing/school/work/etc...and these people don't care what takes skill or no skill to use, just so long as it works and gets them kills and lets them have a good time. We need to stop being so uptight and snobbish towards certain guns. Sure there are people who are jerks and try to ruin other people's games, but calling people noobs for using a certain gun is just unproductive and won't change a thing.
Shotgunners are cool but awesome as one my self they are great for close combat situations especially if u aim them at the head.
By logic of those who think shotguns are cheap because of power, you should all be using knives, or be subject to being judged as a hypocrite. A shotgun has its advantages: -going-around-corners power -slight spray (and I mean slight for med-ranged shooting and it's disadvantages: -usually not a 1-hit kill -terrible for anything farther away than 15-20 yards (and 20 is stretching it) -low rate of fire, which calls for lots of accuracy Assault rifles have their pros: -good for almost any range, -very quick kill because of high power, -high fire rate and their cons -will almost never 1-hit kill ... that's about it. Those of you who complain about shotguns being too easy because you "don't have to aim" should seriously buy a shotgun and test the spread of a shotgun. It's not "so big that you can aim straight up and still hit the enemy in front of you," which I've heard from a retard's mouth. It's in fact very small, and because of the low fire rate, you have to aim like crazy, because you can't just spit out more ammo like you can with an assault rifle. Yes, a shotgun is clearly a powerful gun, but only in medium to close range. And if a gun is "too strong" and "unfair," buy one. If you don't like it, it's not like you're automatically doomed to death the moment you come into play against somebody with a shotgun. Shotgun users are usually even easier to kill, because you can pick them off from a range before they get to you. So basically, stop whining.
